Image Toolbox for Android
Image Toolbox is an open source android application that I discovered in the F-Droid app store. As the name implies, it aims to be a one stop shop for all of your image manipulation needs.
I use this app for image resizing, cropping, and metadata removal. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Some other interesting features include:
- background removal
- format conversions
- image OCR
- watermarking
- collage making
- pdf manipulation
A particularly useful feature for me is the ability to save your updated images, into a separate folder, with a different naming convention that you can specify. That’s particularly useful if you don’t want your edited images to get automatically saved into your cloud storage.
